Issued once free of charge for each sale, these certificates link the work inseparably to its creator and to the artist’s catalog raisonn\u00e9. They contain essential information such as the title of the work, dimensions, materials used, edition number and the artist’s signature. These certificates serve not only as a guarantee of authenticity, but also as a legal document that can be used in the event of resale or exhibition.     Original Work<\/strong>: This is the centerpiece of every photographic creation. Before 2021, these works were limited to 5 prints and 2 artist’s proofs. However, in order to preserve the exclusivity and value of each work, this limit has been lowered from 2021 to 3 prints and 2 artist’s proofs. Each original work is accompanied by a signed and numbered certificate of authenticity.<\/p>\n

    Limited Edition<\/strong>: These prints are produced in a smaller size than the original works, and are limited to 30 copies in any format. Although closely related to the original works, they are not accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.<\/p>\n

    Derivative<\/strong>: This category includes more accessible reproductions of the work, such as posters or stickers. These products are not limited in number and do not come with a certificate of authenticity.<\/p>\n

    Special Edition<\/strong>: These prints are usually large and created for specific occasions, such as exhibitions. They are not for sale and are not accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.<\/p>\n

    The change of policy in 2021 reflects a desire to reinforce the exclusivity and rarity of original works. This decision was taken to better meet the expectations of collectors and art lovers, while preserving the intrinsic value of each creation.<\/p>\n

    Each sculpture is generally an original work, with a maximum print run of 4 original copies, 4 artist’s proofs and 4 hors commerce. Most sculptures, however, have a lower number of copies, which is specified on the certificate of authenticity.<\/span><\/p>\n
