The soft, ethereal notes that flow from the trumpets intermingle with such natural grace that they seem to float in the air, like the ripples of a sea current. At this year&#8217;s Nice Jazz Festival 2022, we are honored to present a photo series that transcends the boundaries of sound and vision, entitled &#8220;Only water is more fluid than jazz&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the depths of the sea, where the sunlight is soft and the world is enveloped in silence, a singular setting takes shape. Participants, non-musicians but driven by a palpable passion, engage in a dance with trumpets, creating a fusion of shapes, shadows and bubbles escaping from their instruments. These moments of joy, freedom and abandonment evoke the emotions felt when you let yourself be carried away by a jazz melody. The sea, with its constant fluidity, serves as the backdrop for this performance, making each participant both spectator and creator.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span>The images presented here are from the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/benoit-barbagli.com\/en\/project\/jazz-submarine\/\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\">&#8220;Jazz Submarine&#8221;<\/a><span>series <\/span><span>. <\/span>This series is not a first exploration of the confluence between trumpet and water. Other equally captivating visions have come before, reflecting a passion for the fusion of sound and visual worlds. For those wishing to immerse themselves further, other projects include <a href=\"https:\/\/benoit-barbagli.com\/tentatives\/\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\">&#8220;Si b\u00e9mol amoureux&#8221;<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/benoit-barbagli.com\/the-victory\/\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\">&#8220;The Victory&#8221;<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/benoit-barbagli.com\/il-y-a-comme-un-lien-entre-la-musique-leau-et-la-vie\/\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\">&#8220;Il y a comme un lien entre la musique, l&#8217;eau et la vie&#8221;<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">To all jazz lovers, to festivals seeking to awaken the imagination of their audiences, this series offers a unique vision that might resonate with your aspirations.
